it's a Playstation game in which there is a mat on the floor with different colored footprints.....even two mats so you can play against another person.  The game plays music with arrows pointing to correct footplacement and you have to move your feet FAST.  It's a great game for my little football player to increase his foot speed and a great game for the teens to keep them entertained but now I'm confused as to what to get......maybe saccie or lizzi know???

Yes, you can get the package deal with both the game and the mat, or you can get the game and mat separate (but the mat is harder to find separate).
There are many versions of the game you can get (don't get the Supernova version, thats the one we have and my daughter doesn't like it, wants to get the regular version).
I got it as a package deal with the game and the mat at Best Buy, but have seen them at WalMart too I believe.

notta clue...are you kidding that sounds suspiciously like EXERCISE!   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  I'm not a gamer in any sense of the word.  I enjoy playing PS2 games, but am hopelessly bad at them.

Well I never had a game system in the house through my daughters childhood, but her boyfriend is a gaming fanatic, and a year or so ago gave her his old PS2 and box of games, as he got the next system up. I think he has XBox and something else too... can't remember. We also got a Wii, that I was intending to be a family gift this Christmas. Nowadays Sav is down in the family room playing video games with the daughter and her boyfriend quite often, so the daughter wants to buy him a new system for Christmas, so I may have to tell her I have the Wii before then and blow the surprise before she goes and buys it! LOL Sheesh! I can always say I was buying it for Sav for Christmas and we can have it be for him...   Grin I just knew how hard they are to come by and figured I better get my hands on one now before the holiday season or I'd never be able to get one.
If I can help you out with any other game questions, let me know, as the boy seems to be a video game junkie...
Good luck with the DDR. It is a pretty neat game.

next he`ll want guitar hero  Grin i`m not a big gamer either...i usually end up throwing the controller at the wall or at the tv and with a sound/tv system over 5 grand my hubby doesn`t like me to do that  Tongue so i don`t play much. my hubby is another story, he has xbox live and goes online with ppl all over the world and plays with them. it`s pretty wild to watch and listen to them. it`s actually kinda cool, he makes friendships just like i do on  this board.

LOL You are too funny patty!
I intentionally don't go down there to play games!
Now shhhh, we don't want to tell Sav that the game things go online, or he'll never come upstairs and socialize with me!
As it is, the only time I see him is when I go down there and use the exercise bike!  Shocked
