or mouse elbow. I have been dealing with Tennis elbow or mouse elbow for the last 10 months. I have had tennis elbow and Golfers elbow in the past  (tennis is the top of the forearm and Golfers is the tendons under the elbow) Usually the symptoms go away by 6 months. This one just won't go away. I hear mouse elbow is similar to tennis elbow.
Hurts to straighten the arm and/or to pronate it ( in the case of the right arm to rotate it clockwise) The point where the radius meets the ulna and the humerous is sore to the touch (pointy knob on the top of the arm). OK you nurses fix me  Cheesy

I don't know about all those location/terminology etc, but I'm pretty sure I have the whole tennis/golf thing.
I got it throwing really heavy hay bails this past summer, and it hurts just like you said...straightening etc. Still does, but I keep agrivating it.
what can I say, nobody else is going to do my chores for me till it gets better. LOL!

I wouldn't put it past you  Wink

Can you take an asprin a day and use ice 3-4 times a day?   That will help but the continued use of the computer will continually aggrevate it.  I would see a good ortho, have them prescribe PT and a brace to help ease the tension on the "mouse" elbow.  I'm assuming you have the wrist rest while working on the puter, sit up straight in an ergonomically friendly chair and take breaks frequently???   Cool

I have gone back to my taking of aleve twice a day to help with the inflamation.
The way my workstation is designed my entire arm is suppported and yes I have a very good and expensive ergo chair at work.
The ortho would make me quit Bowling and golfing so that is a last resort., Tho some a cortisone shot would help for a while.
I have 3 of the forea bands with the pads to place pressure on the forearm. I'm wearing one right now.
Just getting old and the warrantee has run out Smiley

You may be underestimating the ortho.....they are pretty pushy about maintaining lifestyle and the cortisone might just do the trick....sounds like you're in need of some help and we can restore a bit of youth to ya 'ol man  Grin
