Have you guys ever seen a Flemish Giant rabbit>
Just got back from Animal feeds and need stocking up on stuff for the critters.
Someone had this rabbit they no longer wanted and dropped it off at the store.
This bunny is bigger than my cairns. I read that the males go over 20 lbs.
They have fairly large ears and it was like a wallaby walking around the store.
Reminded me of that really bad horror movie "night of the lepus"

Haven't seen one that big but my friend had an angora bunny who was an awesome pet.  She had the bunny litter trained and it would hop along beside her on a harness and leash.  It took a lot of patience and a lot of care-they can choke on their fur.  Too bad you didn't take a pic.

Yep, they have some very large breeds of rabbits out there!
The other large one I can think of off the top of my head is the checkered giant. I had a New Zealand White that was fairly big, but not nearly that large.
Way back when I was in 4-H, they had judging contests and I actually used to do the rabbit judging one. (I did just about everything in 4-H!)
I think the flemish are one of the biggest breeds. Then they go down to little bitty dwarf rabbits too.

Yes, those are actually real!
I only saw a few of them.
I don't think they are a real popular breed.
There were a lot more of the fancier coated ones that people got in to that were normal sized.
The dwarfs and lops were pretty popular too.

LMBO!  WOW.   Huh? Huh? Huh? Pups would be in for quite a surprise if they smelled a bunny and went after one of those! Oh heavens, I could just see my Zoey take a leap backwards in shock.
