alright, I have to admit-a house full of 14 year olds, my 10 year old and his friend, my daughter and her boyfriend...I was expecting total chaos.....it was a blast.  We all had a great time between football, guitar hero, playstation 3 , karyoke and sheer overtired giggling.  Who knew 14 year olds could be such a hoot!!  Joe and I ddn't go to bed until 4 a.m.  My daughter's boyfriend supervised until 7 a.m and put them all to bed.  Woke up to 12 inches of snow, snowball fights, snow forts, snow men......a great start to 2008.  Now please excuse me while I go take a nap-I'm exhausted!!! Embarrassed

maybe I need to find some 14 year olds to party with...I was in bed by 11:30, put the book down at 12:05, said Happy New Year to teh dogs and went to sleep.  woohoo.  Best part was our extended version LOTR marathon today (annual tradition) though we did cheat and watch the first one last night becuase my cousin is insane and did the polar bear swim today.  Today was more about eating recipes from my new thai cookbook, thai wings (YUMMY!) with thai sauce, cucumber salad, and dessert, coconut milk/bananas.
