boy times have changed...i had to wait til i was 15 to see my first concert LOL. auttie and i went to see hannah montana/miley cyrus last night (sat). she put on a terrific show, i was very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed it. to be quite honest i wasn`t sure how i`d feel around a venue full of screaming girls ranging in age from 4 to 17 but i had a wonderful time. here are a few shots from the show

we did Smiley it`s funny though...i got 2 tix online at ticketmasters on friday night for sat`s sold out show. i knew she was coming way back in november or something and i wanted to surprise autumn with tix for her birthday. they ended up going on sale at noon on a saturday and i forgot about it until 3 pm that day! as soon as i remembered i hopped online thinking no problem....2 dates and they`ve only been on sale for 3 hours. SOLD OUT!! ALL 3 DAYS CUZ THEY ADDED A DAY! i tried and asked and beggged anyone i could find and i got the same answer...can`t help you.  Cry i told autumn i`m sorry i tried to surprise you but it`s not gona work out and i explained everything to her. she said it`s ok mom and we forgot about it. until......thursday a kid in my class came to me and asked if we wanted to go with her and her mom...i said ummmm........YES!! and told auttie we were going. she was so excited until ........that fell through. the person never got the tix  Shocked auttie was devastated. she wanted to go so bad and she told all her friends she was going. i was home sick on friday and when autumn came home from school she immediately jumped on my laptop to search for tix. nothing except a couple nosebleeders here and there.....plus i felt like dog doo doo and wasn`t planning on going anywhere. you shoulda seen this girl..pathetic! she just kept searching and searching for tickets. i told her hannah would be back and we`d see her next time. later on in the evening i jumped on ticketmasters just to see...whammo 2 tix center right behind the soundbooth 9 rows up. i didn`t hesitate....i snatched those up right away hoping i`d feel better.i didn`t tell auttie i had found them. on saturday morning she was on the phone and asked if she could spend the night at a friends and i said ummmmm.....no. she looked at me like "why? first the concert and now this mom?" i said i had plans for us. she said what? and i told her about the tickets. she was so excited!! the rest you know LOL. what drama eh?

ticketmasters online. stubhub.com and cheaptickets.com are other resources as well. what happened here was the casinos and scalpers bought up huge blocks of tickets hoping to make a few bucks and when push came to shove they weren`t unloading them as fast as they had hoped so they ended up either eating them or selling them at a normal price. friday night 2 hrs before the show i saw 2 on the floor for normal price but i was too sick to take her to that one. is she coming near you? sometimes they`ll release more tix the day of the show.

Yep, she was here and the tickets were horribly expensive and all sold out within minutes.  Next time I'll have to try last minute and see if I get lucky.  I really like her show.  It's wholesome and benign for the kids and she's got a really great voice.

Very cool.
I guess I never thought of looking the day before or day of a concert to see if more tickets become available.
Will have to do that next time for shows with limited tickets.

horribly expensive? really? here her top price was 66 bucks. nothing when i`m used to paying minimum 120 each for aerosmith. ebay was trying to sell them for 500 bucks and up. most people aren`t THAT crazy LOL.she did put on a wonderful show and was definately worth the 66 bucks x 2 plus fees.....and t-shirt....and program.......and glowy thingy that replaced the lighter LOL

that`s so sad. she was really upset when she found out what they were doing to her tickets. what people won`t do to make a buck. screw with adults at adult concerts as much as they want but leave the kids alone. a dollar of every ticket sale is going to city of hope. i know a buck doesn`t sound like much but it sure adds up in sold out shows! maybe next time they won`t do that carol and you can take your daughter
