Ok, I don't know who started it... but I think I will blame saucy because she did it first....
I believe this board has puppy fever.
And believe it or not, the one least likely to bring home a puppy, brought one home lastnight, and has been gushing over her ever since.
Yes, that would be Sav!
The girls have been asking for a bulldog, my daughter in particular... and he just up and caved and got one.
They wound up driving almost to Milwaukee lastnight to meet with the breeder and pick her up.
Well... here she is... she is a 6 month old brindle english bulldog.

Her name is Ginger, for Ginger Snap.
It was a cookie litter, as her daddy is Oreo something or another.
I wasn't in on all of this as much as Sav was, so you'll have to ask him more of the details, but boy are they all happy!

Woa, that's a surprise alright!!  I love Eniglish Bulldogs.  I always tease my dad that I am going to get one and name it after him since they look alike! LOL!!   I can't wait to see a pic. of all your crew together.....good job Sav!!!!!  How is Ms. Ginger settling in??

First of all, yes, the daughter gets a puppy and is headed to the city next weekend for that Hair World show thing.
But by the way Sav is gushing over this little girl, I have no doubt he will take good care of her. (I am going to the city as well!)

I have already threatened with a poopy name... GingerPoop... lol
They say I always change the dogs names in the house, but I insist that isn't true. Kai came with the name Kai and he is still Kai... though it's Mr. Kai or Baby Kai...

Well, the first night or so, there was lots of playing with Mr Poop and Ginger. You have no idea what it's like to see a full grown mastiff do puppy style pounces and jumps in the house! Mr Kai was not impressed, and every time Ginger came near he would do his standard crabby pants thing and strike out at her. Well now he thinks he is Casanova and wants to get his groove thing on with her... good grief! Though he is not exactly well versed in that sort of thing, and we would never allow it, so he doesn't get very far at all. She has her appointment to be spayed on Tuesday, so hopefully that will fix Mr. Kai's urges as well! LOL

She's beautiful!  Wow and so big already!  Take lots of photos, they dont stay young too long!      Mine has his big appointment coming up too.  His ma had one for last friday, then we got really terrible ice here and the vet clinic closed for the day so we had to reschedule.  Take some play photos for us if ya can!  Its been awhile since we seen the rest of the gang too!
 Congrats on the baby... hows she doing in housetraining?
