Aka Sargent Stitch Von Qaeda (The Sargent because she has to have her meals rationed out or she's a piggy, the stitch because she kinda looks like Stitch and makes the same monster type noises at times... and the Von Qaeda because she is a terrorist. This is a nickname my daughter came up with!)
She is doing well and spends the days down at the shop so they can take her outside frequently to potty. She is doing fairly well with that, although we had an incident the other night where she jumped up and peed on my bed (I was not amused!). She had been out shortly before that, but then been running around. I was laying up there studying and she jumped up, was running around, jumped down, and jumped back up. She looked like she was settling in to laydown, which she has done before... but nooo... Good grief!
Other than that, she plays a lot with Poop. Mr. Kai is not thrilled with him, as she comes and pokes at him while he is laying in his bed. We are trying to teach her that Mr. Kai's beds are off limits (particularly if he is in them at the time!), but the other day she tipped him over while he was sleeping in it. He was not amused, but Sav sure did have a laugh of it as he was there with is feet sticking up in the air waking up! Kai will get into the thick of things when the other two are playing, so we try to get him out of there, as he is just too old for that business. He gets very upset once things get going a bit.
Here are some updated pics of the little terrorist!
These first few are of Ginger and Poop playing. They really do get to some serious playing. They remind me a lot of when Czar and Mili (our old female pug) were pups. It is funny to see Ginger get her whole head in Poops mouth! It's like the guy sticking his head in the lion. LOL

Oh yes. . . The puppy potty dilemmas. . Familiar with that one. Quite normal apparently to take a whiz or two on the bed area. I've had to wash some sheets too. Luckily i have a cover on my mattress and a soft foam cushion now. She sounds like an adorable addition. So nice that she has at least one playmate in poop. Another issue i am facing is chewing. Zoey was not a big chewer but i have had to toss a hair dryer, two cell phone chargers and various other items that pooh decided to destroy. I try to give him appropriate toys and watch things but yowza. Hard to do. He is obliterating any stuffy toys. I think he is teething. Any suggestions ya find are welcomed in this house!  Warm weather coming soon. . .lots of outdoor puppy playtime!

bwahhhahhhhahhhh.........man, pooh IS a chewer.  Sorry to tell ya that so far Oscar and Tucker are not chewers but I do have the aggressor of the bunch.  Tucker learned to growl at ppl.....that chi growl, you know the one.  He growled at the vet yesterday too.  Fortunately I'm all over this one with stern reprimands and holding his little nose with a firm "NO"....it's working and he's mellowing.  He thinks he's the fierce protector-why he doesn't realize we have two other dogs double and quadrupile his size that could adequately protect us if called upon, is beyond me.  What's he planning on doing, biting their little toe off?? LOL   So we are off to the Dairy Queen, coffee house, bakery, bread company this week to meet ppl outside and socialize.....what can I say, Tucker and I will also have to sample the goods while there, right??  Should have this new behavior "licked" in no time.    Louisa, have you tried a kong with yogut and some kibble or p. butter and some kibble.....freeze it then give it to them when you can't keep a total eye on them....they chew for hours on it.
Beau, Ginger is sooooooo adorable-love that mug!!!  The cutest is her mug in Mr. Poop's mug LOL!!!   You have to keep the pics coming....poor Mr. Kai....to be ousted from your bed while sleeping....I'm giggling as I type!! Cheesy

I have to take the spotlight off Ginger for one moment and comment on how beautiful Mr. poops coloring is... he almost looks a reddish in the one picture.  I love that color. Beauuuutiful masiff.  And now with little Ginger you'll have some more variation in the gang...

Do you ever take Poop to the shop too?

Poop is red, he is an "apricot" as opposed to the more common fawn that you normally see. It really is a pretty color.
We'll have to see if we can get a picture of all three of them together so you can see the color variations.
Yes, Poop is the shop dog, so I am sure he's got his nose bent out of shape a little by the puppy going to the shop instead of him.
But he has to realize that he got to go down there all the time when he was a pup too, and he doesn't go down there nearly as much as he used to.
He is such a whiner now too, and very vocal about when he is ready to go home now, so has been a problem at times at the shop if they end up staying late. The shop is quite large, with a very long waiting area in front where the crates are. (Crates are all the way to the front near the window) The dogs are not allowed anywhere near the back area. There is a pool table, couches, tv, etc... and people come in and see the dogs. There were problems at times with Poop as some people are naturally afraid of a dog that size, even though he is just a big lovey dog.

I'll still bring poop to the shop now and then.
now that I have the gate in the back of the van, I can have ginger kenneled, and poop can sit back there with her outside of a kennel. But, yes, Zigg/Poop does get very whiney when we've been at the shop a long time, so I can only take him on short days if I take him at all.
Ginger is doing nicely, but she gets a little to mouthy when people are standing to close ot her cage and not paying attention to her.....Just like a Woman!!!! (or should I say, like a lil' kid..same difference!)
LOL!

Really I want a big Bernese Mountain Dog. *sigh* there was one at Pet Smart the other day. Ohh they
are so big and beautiful.  Right now I'm good though, lots going on at home if most have not heard
my step daughter Lacey who left for college in Sept is pregnant.  Angry

Actually I"ve come to better terms with it much better than i was last year when we first found out.
She's due in July and is keeping the baby, the father well its between 2 guys *sigh*  long story with
lots of drama.

We never sold our other house, found renters but that has not been a walk in the park either.
So for now I know my limit, Abby has adjusted well enough now that she's learned the potty training thing
perfectly where she doesn't have accidents in the house anymore when I'm at work. All 3 of them are so fantasticly
behaved, and my two cats we've adopted this past 2 years are just great so I guess for now its keeping me sain with
everything else going crazy at home.

Right now I'll swim in all your puppy stories here.
