Anybody heard of Promeris??

As I mentioned on here before, my parents dog was infested with fleas in Kentucky despite the accurate use of Frontline.  We have stayed away!!!  My sis-in-laws vet recommended Promeris but our vet does not carry it.  Anybody familiar with it?  They are taking another trip down next month (my grandfather needs some help) and would like to avoid the problem again.

WE didn't try it.  There were alot of internet sources that had pretty intense side effects from it so they are starting out their trip up to Wisconsin and then working their way down to KY and hopefully it will be cool enough to get those fleas in hibernation by then.
