Survey Says!!

Ok guys....
I know we lost our old survey off the boards from before, so I'll make this one short and sweet... (unless someone has the old one cut and pasted somewhere so I can cheat)
We have some new people, and for those of us with old heimers who can't keep people straight. 
Can each of you fill out a little blurb about yourself for everyone?

Okay, I'll be brave and go first.   

1.   Beautiful British Columbia

2.  How much time do you have?  Okay, dogs...two Australian shepherds, Jurny and Argus.  Both do agility, obedience, conformation, herding, um I think that's it.  Jurny is an adorable little black tri boy who everyone falls in love with, he's nearly 8 years.  Argus is a little more....gregarious....a blue merle boy, 3 years, horrible bark which he exercises all the time, but very sweet.  There is also a vizsla here, but he is my mom's and we don't get along.  Cats.  We only have three now.      We lost the old guy a few months ago to old age, and a couple weeks ago Rodeo went missing.  So we are left with Joey, a black and white Birman/Manx/something else 15 y/o who looks about 2, Rainy, a white shorthaired-longhair...ie he gets shaved, he is nearly 11 y/o, and my little Flame, my "american shorthair" an orange pushed in face girl who is about 6 I think.  and finally, the fish.  In the 135 we have a 9" tiger oscar, Marlin, a 9" lutino tiger oscar, Coral, and a 12" pleco, Bruce.  In the 90gallon there are a couple severums, firemouth, school of silver dollars, convict, albino cories, 3 blood parrots.  In the 75gallon, there are plants and many fish, and in the 29 gallon, two little dwarf puffers with a bunch of freshwater shrimp, amanos, ghost and one cherry.  That's it!

I have so many favorite pics...they are all on the other computer, so will post them at a later date.

Ok, I'll bite the bullet and start this one off....
I guess we now call Wisconsin home, have now for almost 4 years now. Whew, doesn't seem like that long now since we hopped the border from Mn though!
We have too many pets... really we do, we have a zoo. First I will mention for those that don't know, that I'm the better half of Sav  so our pets will be the same. Though they love me more!
We have 4 dogs:
Mr Kai, is an almost 9 year old pug dog, my baby...
Mr Poop, aka Ziggy, is going to be 5 this year, and he's an English mastiff. He's Sav's but loves me more.
Czar, is an 8 year old German Shepherd, he's mine.
And Skatey is going to be 3 I think it is this summer. It may be 4 though, I loose track. He's a basset cross. He's my daughters dog. He loves everyone!
Then we have Kona, an eclectus parrot, he's mine, but loves the kid more.
I have a couple aquariums, one is full of Tanganyikan cichlids, and one with mollies.
Then we have the horses....
Beau (now you know where I got the name!) is an old thoroughbred, he's about 17 or so now, and making himself useful as a toy for the young filly now. In his younger days he enjoyed dressage. Someday we might surprise everyone and pick it up again!
Ralphie is also an older thoroughbred. He's only a couple years younger than Beau, and my daughter rides him now and then.
Izabell is coming 3, and a Morgan/QH cross filly, that spends her time tormenting Beau in the pasture. She's a real spitfire who should be lots of fun for my daughter when she starts riding her!
Oh and we also have Kiesha, the barn cat....
I think that's it for the animals.

I'm Carol.....I have two dogs...Tater, a 7 yr. old retired racing greyhound and Sonny my 4 yr. old yellow lab who is my Sonshine, my service dog, a therapy dog at the local hospital on Fridays, an ambassador for service dogs at many speaking engagements throughout the year and the man of my life next to my husband Joe.
I am actively involved in transporting greyhounds for TLC ( the agency we adopted Tater from) and doing meet and greets for many home and dog shows that our adoption agency schedules us for.
I love chocolate, camping, site seeing, traveling and walks with my dogs.  I HATE mice!!!
My 3 children and being a nurse consume much of my time as well as being on board here. 

How's that MOM???  I'll email you the pic. cuz I have no idea how to size and post it on this board.

I have 2 puppers
Abby my 7 year old golden girl
an Scooter my 3 year old Cairn terrorist
Also have 2 canaries (american singers)
And I believe 9 or ten finches

From central Wisconsin

3 dogs:  Jed, a 5 yr old male golden.  He is a bit of a big old slug but very lovable and he loves the kids to distraction
             Josie, 3 yr old female golden.  She is pure sweetness and has a docile loving personality
             Emmy, almost 6 mth old shih tzu.  She is my princess but has a bit o' the devil in her too.  She is an excellent lap warmer

3 cats      : Maya,  a 10 yr old, torty colored domestic long hair.  She's definately the queen bee of the household and is mainly my 14 yr old son's cat and sleeps on his pillow with hiim every night as she has been all her life.
               Blue, a 7 yr old domestic shorthair with some siamese in her.  She is a beautiful cream and grey lynx point with the prettiest blue eyes. She's our hunter and always brings home presents for us
               Zoe,    a  3 yr old d.s.h,  black female.  She is handicapped but is the sweetest but most vocal little thing


And last but not least my horse:  Smokey. a 12 yr old dapple grey quarter horse gelding.  After a lifetime of yearning for a horse he was my dream come true.

I have 4 kids and work as a counselor in a halfway house for women that were recently paroled or are on  formal probation.

dang it, you found out my plan!  LOL!  Thanks for the comments...Argus will be strutting around like a peacock now, which i suppose is suitable considering that is the bird he is named after!
