I want to say it's been close to 4 years, while messing with old logs and files, I found some dated 2002.

You guys were on the message boards, and we were from the chat rooms...
I go way back in the chat rooms... almost back to the very beginning of acme.... Sav came along soon after. I came along in late 1995/ early 1996.
We really "met" you guys when we opened these boards... It was Prajna that approached me, as we were putting this site up quick, right after Acme closed... to originally accomodate the chat room people, and explained that there were people from the bulletin boards that needed a place too. So we added bulletin boards as well. You are what remains of the AcmePet bulletin boards. So many were scattered when they closed so suddenly... it was such a shame.
It was the beginning of the year when acmechats was opened, so if Sav found 2002 files, then that's probably the year we started.

I found the old Acme in 1998.  From there, I attended the Fireplace Cafe, met Uly, and the rest is history!

I forgot all about that place!  I started in the old acme in the chat room....way back, 94, 95?  I know it was ages and ages and ages ago!

Oh eeek doesn't time fly, I like Beau was around on the old Acme almost from the beginning, LOL I can remember when we thought it was busy if there were 4 people in chat!!

Then when it got to 40 people in chat and magic wands were getting waved left right and centre! Oh the good ole days!!   Grin Grin

 I was over in the new chat lastnight or was it this morning...can't remember, but it was like the old days...someone NEW came in asking advice..and there were 3 people giving it...just like the old days, just a little nicer! LOL!
