I have some pictures that I just finally uploaded today.  These were taken at the Bark in the Park event, (Aug 24th) the Cause for Paws walkathon (Sept 18) and just at home in our backyard over the last few weeks...

At Bark in the Park:

Coco cooling down:

In our backyard...

Look at that little sneak trying to grab a piece of candy... he got caught and is giving an innocent look (he would neverrr try to steal candy...)

my nephew with pooh and zoey:

A boys best little friend!

in their halloween bandannas:

In May there was a Mutt strut in Dearborn.
Maybe they'll have another next year

How do you folks find out about these things?  Our pet store has never had anything indicating a Mutt Strut and I go to all 3 of the local pet shops.....one for their food, another for their bully sticks and the third for great prices on their stuffies.?

Thank you!  The oneI've had for years and it goes in every winter and out for the nice weather.

Carol --- try www.meetup.com   I don't remember how I first heard about the site but I came across it (probably a flyer for  an event) and it's how I learn about all the local dog events.  I am a member of the Pittsburgh Toy dog meetup on there and the Pgh Dachshund meetup... and pretty much learn about all of the events through them.  Try searching for a dog meetup in your area and they'll probably list either events or private meetups (kind of like play groups for dogs)  but I always avoid the groups anymore that have large breeds after Zoey hurt her back a few years back, she and large breed dogs running don't mix, and Pooh gets very scared around bigger dogs that are running around, if they chase him (even good-intentioned playful or curious large dogs) he'll run which makes them chase him faster of course thinking its a game...and he panicks and starts squealing and crying until I pick him up.  He's a baby.  But I dont blame him because of Zoey's incident... they can get hurt way too easy.  (sure you know this, but thats why I rarely attend the meetups with large dogs unless I know they'll all be leashed and under control such as at Mutt Strut)
