not sure if anyone remembers three years ago when my daughter was so sick with a rare neurological disorder called acute disseminated encephalomyelitis. well, she is sick again, same kind of symptoms, doesn't seem quite as severe, but in the hospital. so tonight the neurologist comes in with a preliminary diagnosis based on her history and the fact that this disease sometimes leads to MS, that she does have MS. she is devastated, understandably so, young single mother of three kids, but I am leaning towards taking her once she is well enough back to a neurologist at Rush Presbyterian in Chicago she saw three years ago who specializes in MS but ruled it out the first time. He was wonderful and is one of the premier physicans in this field so I think off we should go to see him, at least to confirm what the local neurologist has said.

Without a doubt, go.   He may be able to at least tell you the absolute latest advances.  When my father was trying to get a lung transplant, due to emphysema, we went out of state as well to get the very best consultation available.  Without a doubt I wish you the best of luck and will say a prayer... stay strong!   Smiley Smiley
