Hi Carol...thanks so much for missing me!  I have been sooo busy.  I don't think I have sat down at my home computer and did personal internet stuff more than twice in the past month.  I do check out the board when I have a breather at work and have been keeping up with everyone.  Got a promo here and with the promo came a bigger work load and I have to work more hours to get everything done.  I'm at work right now...and it's almost 12 am!   I am so looking forward to the weekend.  My job, on top of Little Leauge practices and games for two kids , school concerts and art shows and trying to fit in chaperoning field trips...lol...I am on the go constantly.  I still find time to enjoy my dogs and horse..they keep my sane.  Emmy has been plagued with an eye infection since she came home from the groomers with an ulcerated cornea...don't know what or how it happened, but I do know that her eye was fine before her haircut but was goopey and starting to pus when I picked her up later that day.  The vet said she probably got it scratched somehow there.  It hasn't affected her mood at all and I think we got it on the run after this treatment (keeping fingers crossed).  She is the most wonderful little thing and I so enjoy her.  Jed and Josie are great and enjoying spring.  Smokey, my horse, has a big hay belly that needs to be worked off and we are working on that.  My daughter is going to take him to the fair this year for 4H and has been doing a lot with him..he is such a big sweetie and is so patient with her fussing over him...his tail and mane have to be just so- everyday, etc.  I think he misses being just a plain old trail horse  lol.

YAY, Kathie's back!!!  Great to hear from you.  My, my, you DO sound busy, but happy-that's a good thing!!  I hear ya with trying to keep the balance up....I thought life was busy when the kids were toddlers, but jr. high and high school get even crazier!!
Ahhhh, the groomer.  After my cockapoo passed on, I decided no more dogs that needed groomers.  Even if it meant shedding and vaccuming, to me, that was better than the groomer.  I just couldn't stand leaving her.  We had a great groomer, but she moved and then I couldn't find one I liked, yet Muppet needed hair cuts....I just didn't want to leave her.  Sooooo....now we have hair but sanity.  Grin
