Tater has to have surgery WED. -please pray for her....

The toe Tater had the nail removed on should have been fine but she's never been able to walk on it.  It's been 6 mths.  I've done PT and massage it frequently, worked with her in the field where they weeds and leaves cushion her when she walks-but it's getting much worse.  The toe looks good, healed and calloused but tender......took her in for appt. today and she has a neuroma (cluster of nerves that have formed a tumor in the joint capsule).  She has to have the whole toe removed.  Good news is that he says she should be able to walk and bear weight without difficulty after she heals, but after Goldie's 2 torn ACL's and Muppet's 2 torn ACL's I feel like all surgery ends in arthritis and lameness.  The doc says it won't and fully checked both Tater's hips and knees-x-rays are perfect despite malformed toes from racing so young on her growth plates.....I'm praying, please join me k??? Thanks guys!!
