Thought this was neat, hadnt had a chance to see the Bald Eagle other than in pics/TV, its a live video cam...apparently she recently had eggs!   When I looked, she was sitting in the nest, couldnt really see her well.  Still neat to check in once in awhile, see if you can see babies.   Smiley

That's pretty cool! It doesn't say anything about where that is though....
We have tons of bald eagles around here that come through every year. It's just amazing to see them. They are soooo beautiful!
We are along the Mississippi and they like to fish, so we are lucky to see them. When they come here they literally line the trees... it's just unreal! I'll have to see if I can find some pics to share. I know my daughter got a neat sunset shot of one.

Hehe, that cam is right near me!  The first one that the eggs didn't hatch was on an island just off my island, I'm actually going there for a child health clinic on Thurs.  Not sure where the second cam is, couldn't find any info about it in my brief search.  Bald eagles are everywhere here.  Actually nearly hit one the other day going to work.  A deer had been hit and there were still some remnants in the middle of the hwy and the eagle came down and was going to have a little breakfast.  So the three cars that I was driving near and I pulled into the fast lane, slowed down and the eagle hopped off to the side, not really worried, as soon as we went past it hopped back to the middle of the road, the next group of cars had to swerve to miss it, the eagle flew off then (was then too far away and had to look ahead to drive) and not sure if it came back.  On my way to school I have about a dozen trees that there are eagles in fairly regularly, fall they are especially abundent.  Very cool, they are amazing birds.
