well it's been on for awhile but now i actually remember how many days are in the countdown! LOL  i've got monday...which is field day ie playing competition games all afternoon outside. tuesday, wednesday, 1/2 day on thursday and 11 a.m. dismissal on friday and that's it!!!!

Summers finally arriving!   Unfortunately, I can't say all my co-worker moms seem as excited about the countdown from what I'm hearing here!  It seems sort of the "reversed countdown".... days of once-occupied kids is slowly coming to an end!

LMAO...I CAN relate to that part too. still, i'd rather have a summer of getting up when i feel like it, not having to do homework, not having to be anywhere at a certain time unless i've planned something... not having to deal with some of those "special" students in my class who are always starving for some sort of intervention....and the list goes on

Our kids got our Fri. but the neighboring school is not out until the 15th...my dauther's boyfriend and a few of her other friends are there...she is positively torturing them!lol!!  Had a pool full of kids yesterday and it's suppose to be 84 today-yay summer, bring it on!!!!

Yep, summertime is here! Had a nice, booming thunderstorm lastnight even! Icky and sticky today to usher it in!

But it's nice and green. I drove past a pool full of kids too!
My daughter is working at the shop this summer, so she has already been down there with Sav on the weekends, and now full time starting this week. So she's been a busy girl! But it keeps her out of trouble!

yea, bring on 84!! was about 107 today so it`s getting pretty warm here  yesterday was "field day" and i about died. field day is sort of a survivor type game day. all outside with lots of hoses and water games. our class tied for 1st place out of the whole school and we had a rootbeer float party today to celebrate. tomorrow are the awards ceremonies, thursday school`s out at noon and friday out at 11.
