Where did you get them?  How long have you had them?  Can you post their pic?

These are my guys......

Julian is my African Grey.  He's 21 yrs old and I've had him since he was 4 mos old.  I bought him from a private party.

And this is Patrick - a Blue Crowned Conure, who is 19 yrs old.  He came from a store.

This is Kona, he's a Solomon Island Eclectus. He's 4, and we've had him since he was weaned from his hand feedings. We got him from a breeder at a bird show. He is a sweetie, though he yells every now and then. He talks up a storm, and greatly enjoys tormenting Mr Kai. His favorite phrases are: "Baby Kai", "Puggy Kennel", "RIGHT NOW", "Poopie"(thats for Ziggy, aka Mr Poop), "Hello Kona", "Go Kona", and various other things, including the sound of the dogs squeeky toy, and now the drill with all the construction upstairs. Birds are so fun to have! Greys are so neat too, I always wanted one, but we decided on an eclectus to start out.

Opps, forgot to insert the images, so adding them.... LOL

He is quite the character sometimes!

This is Bhakti

also known as the wild chicken..... umbrella cockatoo obviously and I got him from a breeder .... he has been wtih us for 8 years now I have had him from the time he was an egg.... he was a twin in his egg (the other too did not survive, but it is very rare for them to be twins) and due to being a twin he has a foot that never developed properly.... as you can see he perches ok but a couple of his toes don't go quite in the right direction.  He was my graduation present to myself when I finished my masters.... my husband is very worried about what I will bring home when I finish this darned PhD.

My old boss had a Cockatoo and he used to have a behavior that I called Chicken Hawk, and when I mentioned "ChickenHawk" he would go into that act.
Kona loves me best tho....no matter what anyone says! He even cuddled with my beard the other day and made somewhat kissy noises when he did it.  Embarrassed
