rain, rain, rain.....we've got a lot of it ...not so much the rain but the lack of sun that is getting tiring.  Besides Patty, who has it made right now....how bout the rest of you??  I say we plan an ACME trip to Vegas around Feb.-we'll all be ready by then.  Tongue

Carol you need to come to the island!  We've had so little rain this year its a bit scary.  Even when it does rain, its only for a day or so.  We need rain so desperatly, everything is dry as a bone.  Though today its a bit dreary looking.

I think its just a bit misty and gloomy...no real rain.  Haven't honestly been outside yet today.

The beginning of the week was awful, especially mon-tuesday.   Its better now, I was able to walk the trail this afternoon with a friend and the dogs (hers too)  and it was a bit chilly and without any sun, but not rainy nonetheless.   

Good news though!!! The leaves are changing colors!   Grin  Beautiful time of year... I love going for drives just to see the leaves and scenery around here.  We're headed to the pumpkin patch/farm this weekend so maybe some good pics, if I can get my dang camera to work properly.

please do post pictures! i so miss changing seasons...well besides really hot to not so hot LOL. in vegas' defense today was absolutely beautiful temperature wise  Grin

I was surprised! Yesterday was warm enough to go without a jacket, and today it felt like artic winds along with freezing rain.  And the worst part is... I promised I would attend a FOOTBALL GAME tonight!!!  (ahhhhhhh!!!!)  I'm going to have to dress up like an eskimo!  I feel bad for the players.   Sad

I guess Zoey took it upon herself to make the sole decision that it was no longer the season for outdoor pottying...   it was very cold and windy this morning, as well as pouring... I opened the door... never seen her turn around that fast in quite awhile.  Of course, she was told to think again until she pottys because I am not up for coming home to any presents! She better get her little mind in winter gear because we had this problem last year... for some reason she thinks once it's no longer pleasant enough to take 15 minute potty breaks outside, that she will in her mind, just do us both a favor and just go inside.  Uh-uh!!! not this winter little girl!  Her brother follows her example, of course.  He is doing pretty well though.

ahhh the agony of little dogs and housetraining....(i swear its a life-long process for some!)

I had to go to a football game lastnight, but luckily got to sit in the ambulance to stay warm (we have to standby in case the players get hurt). We started it up a couple times to warm up for just a minute or so, but I had no idea how dang cold it was until I had to make a pit stop just after half time and had to walk around the field and back... YIKES!!!! I nearly froze to death walking there and back! I have no idea how everyone sitting outside did it!
This morning it was spitting snow!
Winter is upon us Carol!

Louisa, you best get those doxie feet ready for cold weather! I know how it is though... I have a puggy.... Mr Kai doesn't like his little feet cold or wet... it's a small dog thing!
