Wooo Hooo...a blizzard coming our way!!

They are predicting anywhere between 8 and 12 inches of snow for tomorrow..complete with the strong winds.  We haven't had a real bonifide blizzard up here in ages.  Call me weird but I love them.  Going grocery shopping today and getting ready to be hunkered down in the house with the family.  When I was a kid, I loved big snow storms...besides getting a getting a day off of school,  we'd get to do fun stuff like make cookies all day or sometimes even homemade playdough.  Although, there are times that I would love to live down south and escape the cold weather...I would really miss winter as things just slow down and I actually have a few weekends during the cold months where we actually have nothing planned and we can sit home, relax and enjoy each others company.

Alrighty psycho girl, it is the middle of February-time to look forward to the birds singing, the sunshining and the Great Lakes in full swing-NOT a blizzard:0)  LOL!!   Just keep that white stuff in your neck of the world, I am convincing myself that winter will be done in 2 weeks and we got off e-z. :0)

I take a walk down to the corporate office and first get stopped by a guy in the therapy dept who tells me I better get home... a storm is coming!
Then I get down to corp, and the finance lady tells me there's a big one coming and I won't be in tomorrow! Yeah whatever! She then tells me they expect 1-3 inches tonight, followed by 6-9 inches tomorrow, at the rate of about an inch an hour, of blowing and drifting snow tomorrow.
DANG IT KATHIE!
