Has everyone else been spending the past week digging out of all this snow that has come across the midwest? Good grief!
School closed yesterday and today too.
I didn't realize how deep it had accumulated in the back until I saw Beau tromping through it today.
Now for those of you that know horses, Beau is a VERY tall horse at 16.3hh. What does this mean in regular peoples terms? The highest point of his back is level with my eyes... and I am close to 5'11". That should tell you how deep that snow has to be to look that deep on him!

We we warmer so we had over 1" of rain Wed-Thursday. That would have been an awful lot of snow. but with the ground frozen all the rain just pooled up make new lakes everwhere. Today is colder and it  has been flurrying all day and it is quite windy so it is blowing all over. Could use some sun too.

We have sunshine today here!  The snow is all melting away... there is a chilling wind but if you are just driving in your car the sun beaming in feels like spring time!!!   

A little too cold to do any long walks yet though...  I'm hoping it just stays like this and keeps gettin' warmer!!

Zoey is overjoyed...she can finally go outside without standing on just two legs at a time!  (hates her paws in the snow.)  Mercedes doesn't seem to mind either way.

Well I think we got about a foot of snow last weekend (was a bunch Friday and Saturday in a two day storm), then another round this week starting Wed and going through this morning to dump about that much again.
Of course some areas got it worse, as Winona got 30" in the first batch last weekend... hope they were dug out before this new batch hit!
And did you hear about the tornadoes down south? Yikes
