Maybe you guys were right and this blizzard business wasn't the coolest thing that could happen. My flipping arms and back hurt from shoveling...that stuff is heavy as heck!! We got 10 inches and it's starting to wind down. It was an enjoyable day though....we had lots of fun being homebound for the day. Jed and Josie are like psychos in the snow and they are totally worn out and sound asleep. Princess Emmy isn't big on the whole getting her feet cold thing, so she didn't last long out there before she was asking for someone to pick her up. She's so little that, Cody (my oldest), just tucked her inside his coat and she was happy. My brother's wedding is next weekend and I am praying that we don't have a repeat performance from Mother Nature.

you wanted that white stuff, now you keep it there with you. The winds were 55 mph here last night-I KNEW you were trying to get rid of that stuff and send it my way....ungh-ungh, we're rooting for an early spring here in Michigan. :0)

Ooooh ooh, send it here! I want snow! Last month we had the rainiest Jan on record, this month we haven't had a day of rain yet, which is nicer than rain, but I really miss snow! We don't shovel the driveway, its too long, we just drive the truck up and down! LOL!

Well I attempted to get to work yesterday and turned around less than half way there... as once I made it up the bluff, on top it's wide open, and the roads were drifted over in most spots, and visibility was down to nothing. It was downright dangerous to drive, so I turned around and headed home.
Now this morning Sav catches me after I get out of the shower and tells me that my daughter has strep. (Caught it from her boyfriend!) So I had to take today off to run her in to the doc, etc etc... We are about to head back in to town to get some lunch and let her work know that she won't be in tonight.
So, I now have a 4 day weekend that I hadn't planned on!
We didn't get much snow, but it sure is cold and windy here. Where I work they got a good 10", which explains why it kept getting worse, the further I got on the way in yesterday. At least I had the sense to turn around.
Speaking of weird weather, what was with Chicago? They even had tornado warnings yesterday and thunderstorms?! Wow!

it's already -6f here...and they say with the wing chill (and it is Very Windy right now)
it should get down to -25f tonight. So...I've got the ole caravan plugged in so it'll
start tomorrow.
