I got an email from her last night. Cooper is gone. I sit here in tears as I type this for her. She`s too distraught and finding it extremely difficult to say goodbye. You long timers know her well and saw the Coopster through laughs and tears. Lymphoma was the cause for his death.  I am deeply deeply sorry Christi (sp?)........I don`t know what to say cept I love you and I`m here for you. A pic of the beautiful boy

I'm so sorry for your loss hun, please know our thoughts are with you.  There's never any way to make this time easy... the beauty in all is you were able to share some wonderful years with a beautiful friend.  One thing I thought of and truly believe, is that these creatures are a God-send.   They truly just dont live long enough.  When I was going through the loss of such a wonderful dog in my life who seen me through many years and everything that goes along with them, I realized often they are with us just enough to truly effect your life in a positive way, and then they're gone, like an angel.  She had been with me long enough to share in a lot of joy and be unbelievable comfort in the rough times, more than any person!  She really was my angel.   I'm sure your Cooper was the same... something about those Goldens particularly. (She was a golden/shepherd mix... more golden) They really seem to have that 6th sense.

Oh no.  Christy I am so sorry about Cooper.  What a beautiful strong boy you had there.  I remember him so well.  Will continue to have fond memories of all your postings about your furkid.  Huge hugs.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.  That goofy boy meant the world to me.  He started out as my companion and became my soulmate.  Living without him is going to be tough, but I have so many wonderful memories.  He took me places I never imagined I would go.  If someone had told me 10 years ago that I would step into an obediencw ring with a dog, I would have thought they were nuts.  Cooper gave me the courage to do that.  Novice A to Utility.  What a great boy!!!!
