We are in the countdown now... YIKES...
I am officially off work for a week for graduation now.
Tomorrow my folks arrive, along with the top-secret guest, my Uncle Jere, who my daughter said would make her day if he attended grad. He's everyones favorite Uncle of course. She has no idea he's coming, as she only mentioned that she wanted him to come a couple weeks ago and I told her there was no way he could make arrangements. Well... he's just that kind of guy where he did! Then Friday Sav's folks arrive and that is grad night. Saturday is the open house. Sunday some of the folks fly back, then some Monday, and my Dad flies out Tuesday.. Whew, and back to work again next Wednesday.
Of course as we have been scrambling to get the house looking great inside and out, Sav said lastnight "Wow, I wish I had known we had the Reicks Lake option".... thats a local park with pavillions where we attended a grad party last weekend. Covered shelters, picnic tables, etc.. LOL
It looks like rain now on Saturday, but luckily we have a big house so we SHOULD be ok...
But sheesh, what am I doing on here, I have so much to do still!

No worries, I"LL MAN THE BOARD IN YOUR ABSENCE....lol!!  I know, I know, I've had project lists every weekend, even roped my daughter's boyfriend into spreading mulch.....whew, I'm going to have ppl over all summer cuz now my house and yard will be all cleaned up! lol!!

Don't even mention that to Sav.
He's been a maniac with the yard, but it looks FABULOUS!
He could start a landscaping company after all this work!

YOu'd better hang onto him Beau....he can take the house apart and put it back together AND do landscaping...yep, he's a keeper.
Hubby and boys have been busy with powerwashing, priming and painting deck, redoing back flowerbeds, getting the pool opened, plus there's all the other grad. parties we are expected to attend, Father's Day the weekend before the party with Joe's Dad an hour away and we too have relatives coming in from out of town.  I've decided carry out and pizza are nice alternatives to dinner ......meat and veggie trays are good enough for the party and eeeeekkkkkkk, I actually ORDERED the moosticholli (I KNOW I spelled it wrong Joe) from the local Italian restraunt, but I decided to have fun and not sweat the small stuff.  However, my father will undoubtedly find flaw in it all....oh well....whatchya gonna do???  I figure if a pool, trampoline, bouncy house, corn hole, Polish golf, bocci ball and volleyball can't keep 'em entertained than it's a sunk party with a dud crew
