Of Jurny and Argus at their new house, so nice of me to buy them a field and a mountain!

Broombusting, it was wet and raining, but we had a good crew and a changing group of dogs out there.  Got a ton of broom cut and it hardly makes a dent.

The before

The after

Argus and his cousin Wrigley (the very wet springer)

The wind in our hair

I'm sad this one has the grass in his eye, but love the shot anyways

"Race ya!"

The hill

Jurny surveying his land

Argus come to help cause there's a lot of land to survey!

A minute of rest

Rare still shots

Love this pic, wish he had feet though.

And mom always says Jurny's the photogenic one

Jurny: yay, take the picture, take the picture, I love this.
Argus:  mo-om I'm bored, think I'll eat grass.

Some of the wildlife

One of the small hummingbirds.  There's a big male that comes up and chases these little guys away

Its been cold the last few days, and I found these guys on the pile of grass clippings where is probably nice and warm.  They are each about 3 feet long, two of the many many snakes in the area

Save the  best for last...my favorite shot of the day

Ok no snake pictures though, eeewwww I can do pretty much anything
but Snakes give me the willies.

those are just beautiful pictures, I might save one for my computer background
if you don't mind sharing.  Tongue

Don't have to build, there's a 10 year old 4000sqft house on it!  Only the top level is developed, so only 2000sqft of living space...poor me... Cry lol!

the main things I need to do is finish the fencing in the front, then fence the fields and build nighttime sheep/duck houses/pens.  Hopefully will be done all that by next spring so I can start to get my stock.

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments.  Sorry it took me a bit, no computer for most of the week, just if I head to my parents for the weekend.
